Our Product Design Team

Product Design at Noom plays a pivotal role in shaping experiences that inspire motivate and empower our users to achieve transformational health outcomes. We design with empathy grounded in continuous research and experimentation. As a core part of the Product organization the Product Design team partners closely with product management engineering data clinical experts and user experience research to create intuitive inclusive and impactful experiences.

About the Role

As Noom continues to grow were seeking a Vice President Product Design and User Experience to lead our world-class design this role you will set the strategic vision for design at Noom foster a culture of creativity and excellence and ensure our experiences meet the highest standards of usability accessibility and impact. Were looking for a leader who not only sets direction but brings a strong point of view on design and thrives in being hands-on modeling design excellence through their own craft.

You Will

• Provide visionary leadership for the Product Design function driving excellence in craft user experience and cross-functional collaboration.
• Define and evangelize a holistic design and experience strategy aligned with Nooms mission and business objectives across both consumer and enterprise products.
• Build mentor and grow a high-performing team of designers and design leaders cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous growth.
• Partner closely with Product Engineering Research and other teams to deliver seamless engaging and effective user experiences.
• Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop a clear perspective and roadmap for how Noom harnesses generative AI to unlock new opportunities elevate design processes and deliver differentiated user experiences.

About You

You Have

• 15 years of experience in product design with 7 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success leading design organizations in high-growth product-led companies.
• Experience with gamification and consumer-facing apps and/or in health tech designing consumer-grade experiences (strong plus).
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates deep design expertise and a track record of delivering exceptional user-centered experiences across platforms.
• Excellent communication collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience scaling design teams systems and processes in complex fast-paced environments.
• A thoughtful forward-looking point of view on generative AI with the ability to anticipate its impact and guide Nooms design strategy through this evolving wave.
• Passion for health wellness and longevity.

Compensation Package

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $268000-$362000
  • This range reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position for US-based candidates at the time of posting. The actual salary offer is based on factors including relevant experience and training assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies and location among others.
• Other elements of Nooms Compensation Package
  • Noom offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package. This may include a discretionary performance-based bonus stock awards healthcare (featuring a plan with premiums covered by Noom) paid holidays and paid leave (including Summer Fridays) 401k program and various cash stipends and budgets for employees (wellness tech learning & development etc).
