Senior Product Owner Business Analyst – Hotel Operations

Position Overview

Client is seeking a Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst to support hotel operations technology products. This role will focus on guest services systems ensuring effective analysis planning and coordination of technology initiatives. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders cross-functional technology teams and third-party vendors to deliver enterprise-grade solutions while maintaining compliance security and performance standards.

This position requires a strong mix of analytical expertise product management skills and technical knowledge with proven success in delivering complex projects in a matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document product requirements including use cases workflows and wireframes.
• Maintain and prioritize a well-groomed product backlog.
• Partner with vendors and Marriott business teams to coordinate testing validation and system acceptance.
• Work with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Evaluate new solutions SaaS/COTS products and technology improvements to align with business objectives.
• Conduct independent research to identify future opportunities and emerging technologies.
• Develop and communicate multi-year technology product roadmaps.
• Ensure alignment with compliance security and enterprise technical standards.
• Lead and influence multi-functional project teams and external vendors to deliver measurable results.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years experience in IT application design development or product management.
• Bachelors degree required.
• Strong background in project leadership vendor management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proven ability to deliver results in complex ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Skilled in converting business needs into technology requirements and overseeing execution.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and technical acumen; ability to dive into details to resolve issues.
• Experience estimating IT project costs and resources.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) negotiation and influencing skills.
• Hands-on experience with Agile development methodology and tools (Jira Confluence).
• PMI certification (PMP) CSPO or CSM certification preferred.
