Team Mission:
At GetYourGuide our Supplier Performance team is on a mission to revolutionize how experience creators and suppliers grow and thrive in the global travel marketplace. Our work sits at the intersection of technology data science and human impact. We provide suppliers with real-time analytics and easy-to-act recommendations helping them optimize their offerings exceed marketplace standards and stay ahead in a competitive landscape. Through our Insights platform we combine market intelligence and AI-driven guidance to set new benchmarks for quality innovation and customer satisfactionwhether its curating new products or elevating those already live.
You will:
- Work in a cross-functional mission team with full-stack engineers app engineers designers and analysts
- Help to enable your mission team to iterate fast and learn about our customers by designing launching and iterating on A/B experiments
- Continuously improve our code base systems and processes
- Design and develop efficient solutions that can continue to scale
- Work as a Full-Stack Engineer with TypeScript SASS Java Spring Boot GraphQL Kafka and Kubernetes.
Who you are:
- 3 years of software development experience.
- Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks.
- High proficiency in TypeScript Java (SpringBoot) Kafka and GraphQL.
- Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications and services.
- Experience with writing tests.
- Ability to turn ideas into fast reliable and maintainable code.
- Positive proactive team player who is passionate about their craft.
- Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
What sets you apart:
- Backend experience in Java.
- Working closely with the product manager designer.
- Experience with A/B testing hypothesis building and event-based analytics.
- Prior experience working in the e-commerce space.
- Prior experience in start-up environments.
