Job Description

Position Summary

In this role you will conduct research analyze data and develop strategies to address environmental challenges ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting sustainable practices

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct fieldwork and laboratory analysis to assess environmental conditions.
  • Collect manage and interpret environmental data related to air water soil and ecosystems.
  • Prepare technical reports environmental impact assessments and regulatory documentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental solutions.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental laws regulations and standards.
  • Provide advice to our clients on environmental risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders including government agencies community groups and clients.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science Ecology Biology or a related field from four-year college or university
  • 2 years experience as an Environmental Scientist
  • Phase I ESA experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in GIS environmental modeling software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of local state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word Excel and Outlook) Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.

Work requirements

  • May require the ability to sit for long periods of time stand walk and manipulate (carry lift move) light to medium weights of 10-30 pounds.
  • Ability to walk construction job sites and climb ladders is necessary.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination arm hand and finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard operate technical equipment read technical information and to analyze complex data.
  • Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related errands or to attend meetings may be required.
  • May need to be on project sites for extended periods of time.
  • Must have valid license to operate a motor vehicle.
