Software Engineer

Product Overview
TIBCO Business Events is a declarative distributed complex event processing platform covering multiple event processing tasks. TIBCO Business Events allows you to abstract and correlate meaningful business information from the events and data flowing through your information systems and take appropriate actions using business rules. By detecting patterns within the real-time flow of events TIBCO Business Events can help you to detect and understand unusual activities as well as recognize trends problems and opportunities. TIBCO Business Events has both on-premises and cloud offerings.

Role Overview

• Drive high-quality design and implementation of components systems and user experiences.
• Work closely with the onshore development team with close interactions with the Development QA Documentation and support teams located in India and US to build new features in the product.
• Posses excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Participate in development efforts towards successful project delivery
• Collaboratingwith teammates through learning
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Responsible for the implementation of features for new products and enhancements to existing product.
• Writing high quality robust code to meet the desired specification
• Work seamlessly with the local development and QA team and also with the members UK/US Team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile development and rapid deployment of a cloud development organization.
  
  
  

Qualifications/ Key Skills Required:
Essential:

• Bachelors/masters in computer science or equivalent field with 2 years of demonstrated experience building applications/systems in java
• Knowledge/Experience of Web-standards - XML JSON HTTP(s) Web Services (SOAP/REST) WS-Security SSO.
• Experience working with any relational/NoSQL databases - Oracle/MySQL/Postgres/Mongo/Cassandra.
• Experience CICD tools & version control systems - Ant/Maven Jenkins Git
• Experience with docker or other container technologies.

Personal attributes:

• Excellent verbal and written with remote teams communication skills
• Ability to work in an international multi-site environment in conjunction
