Purpose Statement
The Maintanence Mechanic controls the efficient operation of all plant equipmentby performing mechanical electrical pneumatic and electronic repair andpreventive maintenance.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Perform Duties of a Maintenance Owner as part of TPM.
Support departments with capability building including training equipmentowners.
Observes all OSHA and facility safety rules and regulations including use ofpersonal protective equipment.
Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices including maintainingan orderly and clean work area.
Trouble shooting and diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electricalfailures.
Provide solutions to improve base condition of the equipment to increase lifeof the equipment.
Assures preventive maintenance program is conducted on all plantequipment.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment in a timelymanner to minimize downtime.
Perform welding cutting and soldering using electric and gas equipment.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to performrequired maintenance and service.
Duties may involve: pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining;carpentry; installing aligning and balancing new equipment; and repairingbuildings floors freezers or stairs.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
Drive to be a part of a self-directed team and contribute to the success of the TPM journey.
Solutions driven mindset to eliminate stops on the equipment and continuous improvement
High school diploma or GED required. Technical School graduate preferred.
Three or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance environment.
Must read write and speak English.
A high degree of judgment is required for this of power and hand tools.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with all employee levels at the plant as mechanics may perform training for newly acquired equipment.
Mechanics must service equipment from elevated surfaces or from ladder with exposure to falls always present.
Ability to use Word Excel and preferably SAP PM to sign out parts and record PM Completion.
Must occasionally test energized electrical equipment or pressurized hydraulic devices to trouble shoot before repairing.

Employee regularly required standing reaching bending and moving about the facility.
Vision abilities include close vision distance vision peripheral vision and depth ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation its subsidiaries and affiliates (Richs) reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience knowledge skills abilities shift differential and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$26.00-$43.00
