Job Summary

Shift 1 (United States of America)

Position Summary:
The Production Scheduler in Whitewater WI supports manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery optimal resource utilization and meeting quality and cost objectives.

Work Youll Do:

  • Develop maintain and update production schedules based on engineering customer requests and production needs.

  • Create dispatch lists to prioritize orders and revise schedules as necessary.

  • Monitor schedules and suggest solutions to overcome capacity constraints or recommend outsourcing.

  • Provide feedback to departments regarding technical concerns inventory levels order status raw material requirements and manufacturing constraints.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure production efficiency and adherence to deadlines.

  • Use judgment and independent thinking to resolve scheduling issues.

  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to production scheduling.

Team:
This role will be part of the Manufacturing/Operations team at Coperion in Whitewater WI.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Operations Planning Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field.

  • 2-3 years of manufacturing or inventory control experience.

  • Effective computer skills including proficiency in scheduling and planning software.

  • Knowledge of production processes such as machining welding finishing and assembly.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills.

  • SAP experience is a plus.

  • Dependability and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on inventory control and production planning.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
