Job Summary
Responsibilities
This candidate will provide budget integration support to a fast paced dynamic customer environment. The candidate will manage day-to-day activities related to financial management of a multi-million dollarportfolio. The customer environment is responsible for managing dozens of individual project budget activities with requirements that evolve and change throughout the year. The candidate willsupport the customer throughout the budgetary cycleincluding building strategic budget proposals ensuring appropriate executions actions occur (including consolidating and updating division-level spend plans from individual projects) and facilitate requests for unfunded requirements. Candidate will attend and participate in relevant briefings with customer management processing both internal and external requests for information draft responses to them through various forms of written and verbal communication. The candidate must be detailed oriented proactive and communicate regularly with many independent project leads customer management and Department-Level programmatic and budget individuals. This candidate will be apart of a small agile program management office (PMO).
Required Skills:
- Experience with client budgetary cycle and associated tools
- Experience building long-term strategic budget proposals/plans to include building plans across the FYEP
- Experience executingand monitoring of funds to include initiating application of funds onto contracts SLAs etc.
- Experience coordinating with stakeholders COTRs and Project Managers (PMs) leads to prepare individual project spend plans as well as consolidating project spend plans into full portfoliospend plan
- Experience preparingdata written materials and briefings for client in response to internal and external requests for information
- Customer domain experience
- Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up to support customers needs multi-task work autonomously and take the initiative to provide creative alternativeto intractable challenges or systemic problems
Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
