JOB SUMMARY:
This intern will collaborate with both the Resort Accessibility teams and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) partners to gain hand-on experience with their compliance software and assist in developing standardized templates for conducting field assessments and audits across the resort. These assessments will support documentation of ADA compliance findings and enhance visibility for leadership when formulating addition intern will design a prototype tool and perform field testing to ensure it is user friendly and meets are compliance and operational requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluates accessibility features and accommodations and provides information on user experience and functionality.
- Conducts research and synthesizes regulatory information.
- Collaborates with business professionals to learn and utilize compliance software tools.
- Assists in designing and developing standardized templates for field assessments.
- Creates a prototype assessment tool and perform field testing to ensure usability and effectiveness.
- Provides feedback and presents recommendations that leads to a user friendly and accurate facility assessment tool at the end of the internship.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- In pursuit of an Associate Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Preferred majors include: Software Development Software Engineer Hospitality Management or similar.

- This internship will be an in-person experience based in our Orlando offices.
- Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university and must have a graduation date later than August 2026.
- Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
- All of our internships are paid and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
