Project Engineers tap into their prior hands-on experience in diversified engineering principles and practices to relate to and in support of the technical team in project completion. - Manage a wide range of engineering capital and facility expansion projects specific to radio-isotope manufacturing.
- Ensure capital project budgets and timelines are executed per plan.
- Apply multiple engineering related disciplines as required including but not limited to mechanical electrical and industrial engineering.
- Manage the design and implementation of commercial production lines labs and various support systems.
- Implement automation technologies as a replacement to existing manual operations.
What you need to succeed - BS Engineering Degree Mechanical Electrical Chemical
- 8 years of engineering experience
- 3 years of capital project management experience
- Embrace & model the Niowave Values of Teamwork Courage Integrity and Upright Zeal
- Understand how to integrate into a new team/organization appreciates the history of current state knows how and when to make suggestions as well as using just the right pace to reach the improved future state
- Understand your own communication and learning styles can assess others styles and is able to find the right path to connect the two
- Proven engineering project delivery experience
- Proven experience managing capital engineering projects and budgets
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
- Organizational and project management skills for self and teams
- Develop and maintain good relationships gain the confidence of others and work effectively in a multidisciplinary matrix environment.
Great to have - Masters degree in engineering
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- 5 years of capital project delivery and construction management experience
- Experience leading project teams in the R & D environment
- Professional Engineer license
Senior Project Engineer Success Criteria - BS/MS Engineering Degree Mechanical Electrical Chemical
- 10 years of engineering experience
- 5 years of engineering project management experience
- 5 years of capital project management and construction management experience
Other things to note - Full-time position
- The companys standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts.
- This position will have regular working hours Monday-Friday with an expectation of adjusting to working outside of the standard operating hours as assigned.
- Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area. Travel between locations is expected in the role.
