Join a team dedicated to protecting the safety and integrity of U.S. air travel. Peraton is seeking an exceptional Senior Director to shape the strategy and execution of acquisitions contracts and supply chain operations across a high-impact federal aviation program. Youll drive contract strategy supplier performance and risk management while influencing C-suite decisions and building strong relationships with federal and industry partners.

In this position you will:

  • Lead contract strategy development and execution to meet program objectives.

  • Oversee pre-award and post-award processes including proposals negotiations and modifications.

  • Provide technical guidance to contract and supply chain teams ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and efficiency.

  • Build strong supplier relationships monitor performance and resolve disputes.

  • Collaborate across functional teams and represent Peraton with clients partners and government stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition laws regulations and trade policies.

  • Identify and mitigate contractual and supply chain risks while supporting business continuity.

  • Manage the award lifecycle processes (proposals negotiations and modifications).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Contract Management Law or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Experienced director level with acquisitions contracts and supply chain operations.
  • 16 years in procurement strategic sourcing or supply chain management across multiple contract types.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance export controls and risk management.
  • Proven leadership collaborating with Contracts Legal Supply Chain and Program teams advising C-suite executives and engaging with government stakeholders (COs DCMA DCAA).
  • Proven ability to transition and consolidate federal prime and subcontracts under AMS/FAR/DFARS.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations export controls cybersecurity mandates and supplier due diligence.
  • Track record of identifying and mitigating risks renegotiating terms and ensuring compliance with pricing CAS and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning Contracts Legal Supply Chain and Program teams advising C-suite executives and engaging with government stakeholders (e.g. COs DCMA DCAA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.
  • Exposure to FAA programs or NAS systems.
  • Experience supporting portfolios $1B in revenue.

Target Salary Range

$146000 - $234000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
