Safety Lead for our Data Centre operations you will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining robust health and safety protocols across all phases of the facilityconstruction commissioning and ongoing operations. Youll ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards foster a proactive safety culture and lead incident prevention and response initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Oversee site-wide safety compliance and risk mitigation strategies
  • Review and approve safety plans permits and risk assessments
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks safety briefings and site inspections
  • Coordinate with contractors and consultants to enforce HSE standards
  • Monitor high-risk activities (e.g. heavy lifting electrical work confined spaces)
  • Transition safety protocols from construction to live operations
  • Collaborate with facilities IT and security teams to ensure safe operations

About You:

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of HSE experience preferably in data centres or mission-critical environments
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH CSP or equivalent are highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and global standards (e.g. ISO 45001)
  • Excellent leadership communication and coordination skills
