At Bunk our restaurant is full every day from morning to late kicking off with hotel guests over breakfast and finishing off with locals enjoying our cultural programming. Inspired by the monumental church which we call home our menu features local seasonal ingredients prepared traditionally: smoked cured pickled marinated and stewed. Fresh produce is at the heart of each dish which we cook straight from our heart too. Our guests enjoy their food seated at our long tables perfect for connecting with friends both old and new.
ABOUT YOU
Hospitality runs through your veins. And when it comes to experience Well youve got plenty. You know that only a good server can make a great dining experience and you know just how to keep a team running in tip-top shape. Youve mastered the birds eye view with an eagle eye for detail so you know just what needs to happen in the restaurant and when. Youre a natural leader a people person of course. You know how to communicate with a team clearly and effectively inspiring them to create memorable guest experiences. You and your team share one goal: to make each guests day is better when they leave Bunk than when they came in. Thats why youre present in the restaurant accessible to your team and your guests making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone receives top-notch service. Evenings weekends youre always there to help your team get through the hustle and bustle of busy times.
Admin is important too of course but your teammates in the Support office take care of most of them. The only thing you need to worry about aside from managing the restaurants daily flow is making sure youve got the best team: you hire the right people schedule them in well train them properly and continue to coach them as they grow with us at Bunk. Theres the financial part too of course but you have no problem keeping your eye on targets and taking the right steps to meet them.
All in all you love heading home at the end of the day satisfied with the knowledge that you and your team have created the best possible experience for each guest thats walked through our doors. And then youre ready to start the next day!

Meanwhile backpackers will be catching some good sleep on a budget in our pods culture vultures capitalising on our free events podcasters and producers recording the next big thing and curious travelers wandering through our halls heading out on adventures before making their way back to their rooms.
