Diploma or Degree Holder from a reputable academic institution or equivalent by experience
Min 1-2 years of working experience in similar position or field
1 year experience in transportation or customs preferred.
Experience in compliance sanctions screening preferred
Entry Level Job specialist training provided
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) database and web-based applications
Excellent oral and written communication problem solving and interpersonal skills; courteous and clear telephone voice
Proficiency on a 10 key number pad
Fluent English and another regional language depending on the region requirement (Korean Japanese Mandarin etc)
Able to work quickly and accurately in high pressure environment under limited supervision
High attention to details
Able to perform detailed validation / research in multiple internal IT systems internet internal databases and hard copy files / documents
Self-motivated willingness to constantly have self-development
Strong team player

Job Description

Perform 1st Level denied party screening of shipment details by reviewing match information in the Denied Party Application (DPA)
Analyse Denied Parties/Sanctions and export control high match shipments/non-shipments records against the agreed and approved lists (defined in GSOP)
Update relevant systems with the results and actions taken in the review of the high match shipments
Escalate all potential valid match shipment records to Level 2 screeners for enhanced screening.
Release on hold shipments not escalated to Level 2
Assist as directed by Senior Analyst Supervisor and Manager in the research and review of escalated high match shipment records
Participate in planning and directing the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations
Duties as otherwise assigned
