This is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical Electrical Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH) cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power stations vast network of rooms.
The role
As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Records Leadyoull be at the heart of supporting EDFs nuclear operations ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel route works. This is a hands-on high-impact role where your technical expertise will directly contribute to the UKs energy security and sustainability.
Day-to-day youll
- Act as the single point of contact for welding records
- Liaise with site and assurance leads to ensure technical accuracy
- Interface with completions teams regarding Construction Test Packs and End of Erection Status Reports
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely record delivery
- Support the delivery of Lifetime Quality Records documentation
This is a full-time onsite role based at Hinkley Point C nearBridgwater Somerset working37 hours per week.
Essential experience of the NDT Records Lead:
- Quality assurance or quality control background in mechanical engineering
- Experience in piping (desirable)
- Strong IT skills and experience with electronic document management systems
- Experience in safety-critical industries such as nuclear or oil and gas
- Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Qualifications for the NDT Records Lead:
- NDE Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- ONC/HNC/HND/C&G or recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
Security Clearance
