JOB Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION Dudley

TERM Permanent

SALARY 30000 - 36000 dependent on experience

My client is a Manufacturer in the metal processing & machinery industry. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Dudley on a permanent basis.

The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
Experienced working in Food Manufacture ideally
A confident Electrical and Mechanical skillset
A solid understanding of commercial electrical work
An Electrical Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualification would also be beneficial
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work

The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment and building maintenance
PPM and breakdown avoidance
Ensuring documentation is maintained site reviews are managed and Health & Safety standards are met
Overseeing the maintenance budget and stock control
Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
Working with others and being an excellent team player
