DHL Express hasan opening for a Safety Coordinator in our CVG Hub Coordinator completes accident/ injury and safety metric reports andconducts safety promote accident/injury preventionthrough observation and training and provide safety guidance to lead employee safety meetings as conductaccident and injury investigations and promote the DHL safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports DHLs policies and procedures in regards to health and safety regulations.
Administers safety reporting.
Responds to injury and accident notifications and supports investigations.
Facilitates safety training including new employee orientation.
Identifies at risk behavior and conditions and supports Safety Specialists and Operations to correct.
Attends Pre-Ops meetings with management team on behalf of Safety.
Conducts daily walk rounds engaging employees on safety.
Participates in safety committee meetings.
Attends pre-shift employee meetings.
Reviews every injury or accident with management. Provides support into root cause analysis and preventative measures identification.
Attends and supports monthly safety training.
Promotes the DHL safety culture and values.

Autonomy: Works under the supervision of a Safety proactive and displays a can-do positive and a or suggests solutions to problems.
Impact: Assist in promoting safe behavior of hub personnel to reduce injuries and accident.
Knowledge:Basic package handling ramp and warehouse operations.
People Management:Collaborates with Operations leaders to promote hub safety.
Problem Complexity:Identifies unsafe conditions and behavior and works to correct.
Basic knowledge of DHL workplace safety and health risks and/or other transportation operations experience helpful.
