Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Seat Assembly Technician assembles boat seats for all production boats and customer orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares supplies and equipment for seat assembly.
- Identifies reads and understands diagrams and instructions.
- Identifies materials (fabrics foam etc.) to be used for each order.
- Inspects all parts and sewing prior to assembly.
- Provides QC/Inspection of proper paperwork and order number for each order.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required:High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Machine maintenance and general housekeeping
- Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions
- Attention to detail

- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures policies and practices.
