This is a grant funded position:
A partnership of BBH and the Bureau for Children and Families (BCF) this West Virginia System of Care (WVSOC) grant assists the state in incorporating System of Care (SOC) principles in its services and supports for children and youths with serious emotional disorders or serious mental illness and their families to prevent unnecessary removal and help children and youths return to their homes schools and communities safely from out-of-home or out-of-state placement. As the Mental Health Coordinator you will connect families to resources throughout a specific region in West Virginia.

Qualifications:
- Must posses a bachelors degree or higher
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
- Have a thorough understanding of the clinical services and resources available throughout the state
- Be familiar with the various bureaus within the Department of Human Services (DoHS)
- Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist families contacting the First Choice Crisis Line (within the WV Wraparound Referral Pathway) with their applications for CSED Waiver services. RCCs will:
- Interview interested families to collect necessary information for the referral process.
- Prepare required paperwork and complete CSED Waiver applications sending them via email or mail to families.
- Follow up with families weekly until they transition to interim services or receive CSED Waiver approval.
- Notify families when they will start receiving interim services and introduce their provider.
- Inform families of their approval or denial for CSED services clarifying the next steps needed to secure services.
- Screen families denied CSED services to assess eligibility for the Bureau for Behavioral Healths state-funded Wraparound services.
- Connect families to additional community resources and services that may be beneficial.
- Utilize Acentra Healths computer system Atrezzo to document all contacts case updates and upload completed paperwork.
- Attend the monthly Wraparound Provider Check-In meeting monthly supervision with Wraparound staff at the Bureau for Behavioral Health and agency supervisor meetings.
- Participate in monthly collaborative meetings statewide and submit a grant tracking form to the Bureau for Behavioral Health each month.
