Job Title: Facility Coordinator
Location: Baton Rouge LA

Overview:
We are seeking a Facility Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of a modern philanthropic and administrative facility. This role ensures that the building functions efficiently safely and to high standards of performance. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all building operations including routine maintenance and repairs for plumbing electrical HVAC elevator and safety systems.

Serve as the main point of contact for vendor coordination scheduling and quality assurance of work performed.

Respond promptly to staff needs such as room setup custodial requests equipment requirements and HVAC adjustments.

Implement and track maintenance schedules to optimize building performance.
-
Support meeting and event setup including furniture arrangement audiovisual needs and supplies.
-
Maintain inventory of building supplies and ensure proper storage and distribution.
-
Coordinate building security and access systems to ensure a safe work environment.

Assist in the development and implementation of emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.

Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred).

Experience: Hands-on experience in facilities and building maintenance with proven ability to manage operational tasks directly.

Must be able to lift or move items up to 50 pounds and be available for occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
