Job Summary

The Accounting Product Associate will provide support directly to the Head of Accounting Product through becoming familiar with the application and collaborating on accounting analysis related to the ongoing application development. You will be involved in all aspects of accounting functionality from accounting analysis for product features to product design. You will participate in ensuring the quality of all accounting functionality and Accounting Product provided by DebtBook.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Document accounting analysis to support the ongoing product development.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to review product development progress and provide further analysis when needed.
  • Review the completed product updates to ensure that features were implemented appropriately.
  • Collaborate closely with the client operations team to prioritize future product development.
  • Assist team members and clients with accounting related questions and product related questions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 years of accounting experience. Governmental or non-profit experience preferred.

Skill Areas:

  • Exceptional communication organization and analytical skills required.
  • Willingness to collaborate with other team members to achieve shared objectives.
  • Comfort in a fast-moving startup environment. Must be able to operate independently and effectively through periods of uncertainty ambiguity and change.
