Job Description
- Perform commissioning start-up and training for new equipment at customer facilities. This includes installation checks functional testing operational checks as well as machine maintenance and operation training.
- Work primarily with the latest technologies of all of our Business Fields.
- Provide timely and accurate service at customer sites including installation commissioning and repair of NETZSCHs best in class cutting-edge fine grinding machines.
- Troubleshoot issues and consult with customers
- Train customer maintenance and operations personnel in proper operating and maintenance procedures
- Communicate with customers and technical specialists at our headquarters in Germany
- Document project progress and provide status updates as required
Qualifications :
- Degree in engineering a related technical field or equivalent training/experience in a technical field such as a mechanical electrical or similar field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance
- Previous field service experience preferred
- Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge; experience in process technology is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints electrical schematics and flow charts; familiarity with the metric system required
- In-depth knowledge of fine grinding and dispersing equipment maintenance as well as general maintenance techniques is desirable
- Proficiency in computer use (e.g. MS Office service tools); valid drivers license required
- High flexibility and willingness to travel up to 70-80% throughout UK
- Strong customer-facing communication skills and a preference for hands-on interaction with clients; fluent English required
- Culturally sensitive respectful and values friendly collaborative interactions with colleagues and customers
