Job Description
ParadigmWorks Group Inc. PWG is seeking a Center Director to manage Hartford Job Corps Center a federally funded residential educational program serving at-risk youth ages 16-24. Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree with at least five years in program management and direction and experience working with youth. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Salary range: $102000-$105000
Responsibilities include:
- Plan implement and administer programs and activities necessary to meet DOL PWG and Center goals and objectives.
- Strategize and develop best practices to achieve and maintain optimal student enrollment trade and academic achievement graduation rates and job placement.
- Ensure rigorous academic standards are adhered to and trade programs are relevant and realistic for todays job market.
- Ensure a supportive environment for all staff encouraging innovative teaching methods sound counseling and wellness initiatives and positive residential and recreational programming to realize a fully integrated student-centric environment.
- Maintain operational integrity.
- Manage the Centers budget ensuring appropriate allocation of resources.
- Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders community colleges and social and religious organizations to gain support and resources for Hartford Job Corps students.
