We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Quality Assurance (QA) LPNNurse positionin the Las Vegasarea.
Job Description:
A Quality Assurance LPN/LVN is responsible for assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency and for reviewing documentation for compliance and appropriateness of care.
Qualifications:
- Must have an associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two (2) year college.
- Must have at least one years experience in hospice home health or a related field.
- Must have a current State LPN or LVN license.
- Must be able to speak and write effectively.
- Must work well with other disciplines to coordinate patient care.
- Must be able to prepare forms for pre and post payment audits.
- Must have a current State drivers license
- Experience in reviewing nurses notes for completeness compliance with physicians orders authorized services regulations required
- Experience in reviewing admission packets required
- Experience required in reviewing all POC and re-certification for: accuracy order updates frequency updates goal updates medication profiles review format and wording diagnoses update C.N.A. care plan
- Conducts one-on-one in-services for documentation problems as needed
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel - must havereliable transportation
- Clean background and drug screen
