Your role:

Join our innovative medical technology team as an OEM Manager ECG Algorithm. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the post-release management of a medical-grade software sub-system and serving as the main liaison for its integration into various products.

Our team values proactive leadership and youll gather and analyze partner feedback to shape our development plans. This role offers a dynamic and impactful environment where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D Marketing Quality and Regulatory to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the healthcare sector.

We are seeking a competent and experienced OEM Manager to support our international team and handle new areas of responsibility.

Your tasks will include:

  • Engineering Responsibility for Philips ECG algorithm incl. management of post-release DHFs

  • Main point of contact for internal teams and external partners integrating the software component into various products.

  • Gather analyze and consolidate partner feedback to shape the development roadmap.

  • Representing the team in audits and complaint handling situations support product registrations (e.g. 510(k) EUMDR) as required

  • Lead current product engineering (CPE) workstream for the component and coordinate post-release modifications in the platform as well as the role-out into the integrating products.

  • Sign-Off component integration verification results


Youre the right fit if:

  • Masters or equivalent degree (e.g. Diplom) in engineering discipline medical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience in managing medical software products within a regulated environment (e.g. EUMDR US FDA) with hands-on expertise in executing projects under design controls.

  • Experience in project management and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with partners and internal teams.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrated ability to advance project initiatives while prioritizing product quality and patient safety.

  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.

Desired Skills

  • Background on human electrophysiology / ECG and/or willingness to develop knowledge in this area

  • Prior experience in owning and maintaining a medical product DHF

  • Prior experience in audit and complaint handling processes.

  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle in the medical device industry.

These systems are primarily used in emergency and intensive care medicine pregnancy and newborn monitoring surgeries and anaesthesia. With several hundred thousand monitors installed worldwide Philips is a market leader in this field.
