You will go through an extensive training program that enables you to become familiar with plant operations and to develop knowledge of meat processing production including good manufacturing practices Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points food safety quality process control and regulatory compliance.
As a Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Intern you will learn the various aspects of the business as well as be assigned a project that aligns you with our operational needs. You will be trained in various areas required to learn basic skills to understand the process to complete assigned projects.
Our FSQR labs are located in an industrial/processing plant environment. Our plants are fast paced and exciting. This job involves physical activity which generally requires a moderate amount of exertion on a fairly regular basis involving bending stooping squatting twisting reaching working on irregular surfaces occasional lifting of objects weighing over 50 pounds and frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds. The work may also involve other exertions conditions or exposures (i.e. heat cold working in wet environment).
