Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager
Location: Farnborough GU14 6JF
Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: 45 hours per week working on a 3 shift rotating pattern. Either 6am to 3pm 2pm to 11pm or 11pm to 6am on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours to suit business needs.

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner 1664 Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. About the role:
As Warehouse Shift Manager youll lead and support the team to keep operations running safely accurately and on time. Youll be hands-on in making sure stock is handled correctly orders are picked with accuracy and our people have the right support to perform at their best. If youre an experienced warehouse leader with a focus on safety efficiency and team development this is your chance to play a key role in delivering great service to our customers every day.
If you are interested in joining our journey we are now recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the warehouse operations during the shifts (Ensure orders are picked accurately and on timeinbound replenishment and outbound).
- Check for picking accuracy and breakages with investigations where necessary
- Ensure safe handling of kegs bottles and other heavy or fragile items.
- Manageand develop a team of warehouse operatives and forklift drivers.
- Oversee proper use of equipment (forklifts PPT) and complete regular safety checks.
- Conduct daily shift briefings allocating resources based on workload and priorities.
- Monitor performance handle absence/disciplinary issues and foster a safe motivated and efficient team environment.
- Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives
- Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and hygiene standards are always maintained in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
- Experience managing or supervising a warehouse team
- Experience working in a warehouse for an FMCG
- FLT licence (desirable) and experience (essential)
- Manual Handling
