Senior Electrical Engineer Nashville TN MidSenior Level (PE Preferred)
Salary: $90-120K
Total compensation package value: $115k - $135K
About the Role
A growing design team in Nashville TN is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for commercial healthcare retail and institutional projects. This full-time in-office role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can manage projects from concept through construction mentor junior staff and contribute technical expertise in a collaborative integrated A/E environment.
What Youll Do
Lead design of electrical systems including power distribution lighting fire alarm and low-voltage systems
Perform load calculations short-circuit analysis and ensure NEC/code compliance
Review submittals answer RFIs and coordinate with contractors and consultants
Collaborate across disciplines with architects mechanical engineers and design teams
Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support
Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
Manage design deliverables schedules and budgets for assigned projects
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years of experience in building electrical systems (commercial healthcare retail or institutional preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; strong EIT candidates actively progressing toward PE considered
Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and/or MicroStation
Strong communication and coordination skills with experience managing client and contractor relationships
Knowledge of electrical codes standards and construction practices
