Job Skills / Requirements
Guardteck Security is looking for a Security Officer for a Full Time position in North Vancouver BC. You will be working with one of the best-managed security companies in Western Canada. Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional skills in customer service effective problem-solving and decision making.
What you should have:
- Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training
- Advanced Security Training
- Valid OFA Level 1
- Must have your own vehicle
- Valid BC class 5 drivers license
- Must be confident in verbal conflict de-escalation
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
- Able to complete high-quality reports
- Top-notch customer service with previous experience considered a strong asset
- Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined honest and ethical manner
- Able to patrol and stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable working alone or with a diverse team
- Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Must have at least 1-2 years of mall security experience
