About the Role:
Join our Application Engineering team for a hands-on internship supporting real-world projects in paper machine rebuilds proposal development and customer-specific engineering solutions. This role offers exposure to Voiths project lifecycle from quoting and design to execution and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in preparing technical proposals and documentation for rebuild and upgrade projects such as tail threading systems and press section replacements
- Support the development of budgetary proposals and scope breakdowns for customer RFQs including coordination with sales project management and engineering
- Participate in project kickoff meetings and help track deliverables schedules and performance guarantees
- Contribute to the preparation of installation manuals risk assessments and training documents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer site visits equipment evaluations and technical clarifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering a related technical field.
- Strong interest in industrial applications or capital equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD tools or ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
