Job Summary

Make your mark for patients

To strengthen UCBs Epilepsy Rare Syndromes Sales and to improve the lives of patients and their families living with rare diseases. We are looking for a Key Account Manager (KAM) in Oklahoma City OK.

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) you will be responsible for consistently achieving or exceeding sales objectives. Keeping the marketing and sales objectives and key performance indicators in the forefront for customer segments in the assigned territory. Act decisively and responsively by prioritizing budget allocation to meet territory addition to effectively implementing marketing initiatives to achieve sales goals.

You like to work in anenvironment where you can:

  • Prioritize customers and opportunities to maximize impact leveraging all available data sets and stakeholder input to inform effective decision-making.
  • Successfully seek out and qualify leads and effectively profile new accounts.
  • Partner with advocacy groups to support patient education and disease state awareness in the local community.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the local managed care environment and effectively communicate approved key reimbursement information to healthcare providers.
  • Execute marketing programs across customer segments and present approved materials to deliver value-added messaging in a compelling and compliant manner.
  • Appropriately adapt approved brand messaging in complex selling environments that align with customer priorities.

  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial and proactive approach; is organized and able to work with a sense of urgency.

Interested For this position youll need the following education experience and skills:

  • Bachelors degree BA/BS
  • 7 years of Biotechnology/Biopharmaceutical sales experience
  • Proven documented track record of delivering consistent sales results
  • Experience calling on customers at a variety of call points (i.e. academic centers community-based hospitals and private practice offices) both in person and virtual

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of rare/orphan drug experience ishighly preferred or significant sales experience in CNS/neuroscience
  • Promoting products specific to CNS/neuroscience including epilepsy is desired.
  • New product launch experience
  • Specialty pharmacy/REMS experience

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $137600 - $180600 annually. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidates geographic region job-related knowledge skills and experience among other factors
