Job Description

Chicago House empowers persons living with or vulnerable to HIV/AIDS to lead healthy and dignified lives through housing and compassionate client-centered support services.

Chicago House recognizes that Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) LGBTQ individuals and/or People with Disabilities are systemically limited in their practice opportunity and exposure to develop learned expertise. Chicago House values both learned expertise and lived experience. We take a holistic review of applicants and we strongly encourage marginalized groups to apply.

Chicago House is seeking a Program Manager to work with a new housing program HOY (Housing Opportunities for Youth). The HOY Program Manager is part of the Housing & Health Navigation Department. The HOY program comprises a mix of Rapid Rehousing and Transitional Housing units that operate within the spirit of the Housing First model and are designed to reduce housing instability amongst youth ages 18-24. HOY participants engage with a multidisciplinary care team on housing health and income goals to facilitate their ability to financially sustain an apartment prior to program discharge. The HOY Program Manager supervisees the HOY Housing Case Manager and will work closely with other social service providers in the department and agency to coordinate wrap-around services.
