Job Description

Service Administrator Southland

  • Womens and Childrens Gastroenterology Renal Rheumatology Endocrine and National Bowel Screening Programme
  • Southland Hospital Permanent full time role available
  • Salary between $72035 - $75050 per annum depending on previous experience

About the Role

The Service Administrator will contribute to the smooth running of the services by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function.

This role will carry out a wide range of administrative duties and provide essential support to other staff members within the team. Administrative tasks will include but are not limited to Payroll travel complaints meeting preparation meeting minutes and general support for Service Managers

This role demands a switched on highly motivated and organised person with a strong ability to prioritise competing demands in an efficient manner whilst continually learning in an ever-changing environment.

Ideally you will also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a busy administrator role
  • Be a strong team player with the ability and desire to work cohesively across the team
  • Time management skills having a knack for multi-tasking
  • Ability to communicate clearly both in written and verbal form
  • Competent and confident using the Microsoft Office suite particularly Word Excel and Outlook
  • A strong eye for detail
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • Respectful and professional nature handling confidential information
  • Have a natural flair for building and fostering positive relationships
  • Ability to work with colleagues remotely
