Job overview

As Communications Coordinator you will be a key member of team overseeing administrative tasks to support the day-to-day running of the global comms team activity. This is a great and varied role for someone with the right attitude and a real passion for the entertainment industry looking to develop a career in communications. The right candidate will be proactive creative organised and show initiative. Ideally you have already worked in a busy team and have demonstratable communications skills.

Here youll get to:

  • Provide administrative and organisational support for the team including running team workflow trackers weekly meetings and weekly reporting
  • Managing the daily news headlines email to the business and updating of key search terms
  • Manage coverage reporting and updates to the business across Drama & Film Documentaries & Entertainment
  • Oversee and manage international festivals and awards submissions including tracking deadlines awards wins coordinating submissions creating media materials and supporting any relevant activity e.g. talent and filmmaker attendance
  • Press enquiry inbox management fielding queries and flagging issues
  • Support PR Managers to organise press junkets and media days as required
  • Assist the team on financial admin including raising POs and completing expenses
  • Support internal communications teams by updating and maintaining Fremantles website and social media channels as required.
  • Compile and distribute coverage reports for key titles across the business.
  • Assist with marketing and PR campaigns including drafting press releases gathering press assets for specific shows and coordinating with global clients.
  • Coordinate and facilitate talent requests across all genres.
  • Maintain and update media contact databases including journalists influencers and partners.
  • Assist the team on travel admin including working with the travel company provider to book flights and accommodation

Were looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional manner.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks schedules and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in MS Office and confidence using digital tools.
  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and approachable with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive creative and resourceful bringing new ideas and solutions.
  • Passionate about media and communications with a strong interest in television entertainment and Fremantles global content.
