Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain current forklift license.
- Can and does preoperational inspection
- Perform basic operations on Top Gun such as scan a unit and move to a bin location
- Read the schedule for each machine and load the in-feed conveyor properly
- Understands and performs clean up procedures
- Unload trucks and place units in correct location
- Tend to scrap baler when needed and in a timely manner
- Unload finished goods line and place in proper location
- Read tuck plans and load trucks properly
- Communicate with truck drivers in a professional manner
- Train and prepare others for forklift operator certification
- Effectively communicate with employees and others as required in the daily execution of assigned duties
- Assist other team members
Education Experience and Attributes
- Proven production experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of learning multiple jobs
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds; standing and continuous lifting are required.
- Must have the ability to do basic math and read a tape measure.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent is required
