Controller / Full-cycle Accountant

This is a role for a hands-on working Controller whose goal is to maintain a high level of client and staff satisfaction excellent vendor and lender relationships and long-term financial stability for the organization.
The Controller will be someone who takes great pride in their results and the successful meeting of (sometimes) tight time-lines.
Our client is a well-respected established organization seeking a Controller with at least 3 years of recent full-cycle accounting experience.
Offices Located in Vancouver Lower Mainland BC
Responsibilities:
Enjoys managing relationships with a variety of staff and stakeholders
Manage the periodic accounting process including generating internal and external data and financial reporting
Provide guidance for staff and ensure financial policies are being upheld
Oversight of all corporate financials including preparing statements bank and GL reconciliation preparing for external audits and assist other staff with Payroll AR and AP
- Working with company leaders to implement operating budgets across the organization
Requirements:
A professional accountant designation - CA CPA CGA (Chartered Accountant preferred)
Public accounting and experience working for the big 4 an asset
Minimum 3 years of senior level full cycle accounting experience; Sound knowledge of accounting practices including investments and audits; Experience preparing for external audits; Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to form positive relationships
