Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

As a Business Development Executive youll play a key role in winning high-quality infrastructure projects that drive positive environmental change and support the rapid growth of our teams nationwide.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their Business Development career or with a few years early experience in a similar role.

What youll do

In this role youll use your expertise in consulting sales and relationship building to connect with large multi-site Blue Chip organisations. Youll open doors inspire confidence and secure projects that not only deliver exceptional results but also contribute to a more sustainable world.

Key responsibilities include:

  • New Business Development
    • Proactively identify and secure high-value opportunities in infrastructure and sustainability-focused sectors.
    • Represent Ground Control with integrity and professionalism raising brand awareness and expanding market presence.
    • Generate qualified leads build pipelines and manage the full sales cycle from first conversation to successful close.
    • Identify opportunities for cross-collaboration across our divisions (e.g. Environmental Services Landscaping Arboriculture).
  • Client Engagement
    • Deliver compelling proposals and presentations positioning Ground Control as a trusted partner in sustainable infrastructure.
  • Collaboration & Relationships
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and internal teams.
    • Bring exceptional negotiation and influencing skills grounded in a deep understanding of client needs.
