Job Summary

RN Trauma Step- Down/ PCU (Permanent Role)

Location: Bradenton FL 34201

Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the trauma step-down and PCU setting.
Monitor and assess patient conditions recognizing changes and escalating concerns promptly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on care plans medications and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Florida.
Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required.
Preferably 1 year of RN experience in a hospital setting but experience in LTACH Home Health or Rehab settings will be considered.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
