Job Summary:
This role is for a Cath Lab Technician responsible for assisting in a variety of cardiac procedures including but not limited to left and right heart catheterizations PCI pacemaker and AICD implantations and the occasional implantation of IABP and Impella devices. The technician will work a 4x10-hour day shift schedule and will be required to participate in weekend call. One year of experience is required but first-time technicians are considered.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians during cardiac catheterizations PCI procedures pacemaker and AICD implantations.
- Assisting with the implantation of IABP and Impella devices as needed.
- Preparing patients and equipment for procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Participating in weekend call rotation.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Registered Technologist (ARRT) certification.
- Fluoroscopy Permit.
- Current California (CA) license.
- Minimum of one year of experience (first-timers considered).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in interventional radiology (IR).
Special Considerations:
- Weekend call is required.
- No floating between departments is required.
- On-call responsibilities are required.
- Block scheduling will be considered.
- Pending state licenses are not accepted.
- RTO must be approved at the time of submission.
- Facility allows for one called-off shift per two weeks.
Scheduling:
- Four 10-hour days per week.
- Weekend call is required.
- Shift assignments will be discussed during the interview process.
