Warehouse Associate Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Associate you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Working under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager you will ensure the accurate handling storage and shipment of inventory while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection:
Unload inspect and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
Report any damages discrepancies or quality issues immediately.
Inventory Management:
Accurately label organize and store incoming stock in designated warehouse locations.
Perform routine inventory counts and assist in cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick pack and prepare customer orders for shipping ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Assist in loading outgoing shipments and coordinate with logistics partners as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all warehouse safety protocols including the proper use of PPE and equipment.
Support compliance with company policies and industry regulations including import/export handling.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean organized and free of hazards.
Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Warehouse Manager promptly.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
Participate in training and contribute to a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in warehouse or distribution environments (automotive industry preferred).
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning tools.
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.
