Job Insight
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Temporary IT Systems Specialist for a one-year engagement. This role will be responsible for maintaining automation systems troubleshooting complex account issues and supporting enterprise-level systems and processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset to ensure high availability and efficiency of IT services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain automation systems and processes to ensure account provisioning and other automated services function as expected.
- Investigate and resolve complex account issues spanning multiple systems and platforms.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for supported areas.
- Analyze design and implement plans for new systems or processes.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of enterprise systems and processes ensuring smooth data exchange between them.
- Participate as a project team member or lead small-to-medium enterprise projects.
- Track and maintain tasks projects and activities in the IT system of record (S-NOW).
- Follow and uphold organizational standard operating procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of servers and server-based applications.
- Understanding of databases and database interactions.
- Experience with Active Directory administration.
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and prioritize solutions.
- Skilled in collaboration team communication and group problem-solving.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear non-technical language.
- Knowledge of policies procedures and IT standards.
- Strong initiative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to train staff on new or existing procedures.
Work Schedule & Conditions
- Equipment used includes a PC workstation (Microsoft Windows environment) a calculator a phone and other office equipment.
- Regular interaction with internal and external contacts.
- Work performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
- May be required to travel to different office locations.
- May be reassigned to other local sites as needed.
- Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required.
