Key Responsibilities

As the Customer Service Representative (Counter Sales) you will play a vital role in supporting customer interactions and daily branch operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
    • Greet and assist walk-in customers while responding to telephone and email inquiries.
    • Resolve routine and occasionally complex issues acting as a liaison with other departments when necessary.
  • Sales Support & Transaction Processing:
    • Provide backup support to the sales counter addressing product questions and order inquiries.
    • Process customer payments accurately and efficiently for cash accounts.
  • Client Communication & Relationship Building:
    • Address customer questions and account concerns with professionalism and care.
    • Identify potential service needs and refer business opportunities to the sales team when appropriate.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:
    • High school diploma (required); college diploma (preferred).
    • 24 years of experience in a customer service retail or sales support role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and email communication tools.
    • Ability to navigate internal systems and handle payment processing.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks under pressure.
    • Tactful professional and solution-oriented approach to customer interactions.
