How youll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Post-Procedure and Recovery Care
- Patient Education and Advocacy
Department/Unit Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Services Director and general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and according to established policies and procedures coordinates total nursing care for patients participants in patient and family teaching acts as a patient/family advocate and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in theVascular Access Team/Special Procedures Radiology and Cardiology/Cardiac Cath is of a very confidential other duties of the department as required.

What were looking for- a compassionate nurse with a deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
BLS and ACLS required
Two years of professional acute care nursing experience required. 1 to 2 years of experience as a Vascular Access Team (PICC) RN or Radiology or Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab RN preferred.
