What You Will Do
Provide clinical leadership and oversee daily nursing operations in the Assisted Living community.
Supervise mentor and support nursing and direct care staff ensuring consistency and excellence in resident care.
Coordinate and manage resident assessments individualized care plans and ongoing wellness monitoring.
Foster a respectful inclusive and engaging community that honors each residents individuality and autonomy.
Serve as a key liaison between residents families healthcare providers and internal departments.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations as well as Kendals internal policies.
Lead and participate in staff recruitment onboarding training and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous quality improvement and best practices in elder care.
What You Bring
Licensed as an LPN or RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Minimum 2years of nursing experience with a strong preference for experience in assisted living long-term care or geriatrics.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and person-centered care principles.
Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
A team-first attitude strong clinical judgment and a passion for serving older adults with dignity and compassion.
