Role Summary

This strategic leadership role oversees the entire food and beverage/culinary operation of the propertyincluding Restaurants/Bars Room Service and Banquets/Catering (where applicable). The role is responsible for driving departmental strategy aligning with brand standards and ensuring exceptional guest and employee experiences. Reporting to Insert Reporting Line this position plays a key role in shaping the propertys reputation and financial success.

Key Responsibilities Developing and Maintaining Food and Beverage/Culinary Goals
  • Set expectations and hold the F&B leadership team accountable for service excellence
  • Review financial performance and recommend CAPEX investments
  • Identify improvement areas and develop strategies to enhance profitability
  • Establish realistic goals and drive continuous service improvement
Developing and Maintaining Budgets
  • Lead the development and management of the F&B budget
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure revenue targets are met
  • Enforce cash and liquor control policies across all F&B areas
  • Maintain profit margins while ensuring guest and team satisfaction
Leading the Food and Beverage/Culinary Team
  • Inspire and lead with integrity fostering trust and collaboration
  • Drive performance across financial team and operational goals
  • Encourage innovation and challenge existing processes to create value
  • Maintain open communication and build strong team relationships
  • Align operating strategy with brand goals and execute effectively
  • Mentor and coach team members for growth and development
  • Stay ahead of market trends and introduce competitive offerings
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
  • Deliver services that exceed guest expectations
  • Provide coaching and feedback to enhance service delivery
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement corrective actions
  • Empower employees to deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Balance profitability with service satisfaction
Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
  • Set clear performance standards and monitor outcomes
  • Support cost management across wages and supplies
  • Hire and develop leaders with strong expertise and creativity
  • Conduct performance reviews and hold staff accountable
  • Ensure fair treatment and open communication
  • Address HR issues appropriately and provide targeted coaching
Additional Responsibilities
  • Communicate updates to executives peers and subordinates
  • Share information via phone email or in-person
  • Analyze data to solve problems and make informed decisions
  • Forecast consumption and manage procurement of supplies
  • Oversee ordering and purchasing of equipment and materials
