Who are we looking for
Were looking for a resilient emphatic and proactive Safety and Wellbeing Coordinator (Fixed-Term) to join our team in Geraldton Western Australia.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Carryout contractor management plan suitability audits
- Participate in Construction Risk Assessment Workshops
- Manage incident and hazard reports
- Undertake compliance audits and inspections of contractor works
- Assist contractor to meet Main Roads safety standards
What you will bring to the team:
- 3-10 years relevant experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and Management Systems in general
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Apps and platforms (Excel Word Visio Outlook and SharePoint)
- Ability to lead and carry our comprehensive audits
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Qualifications and experience required:
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Certification in Lead Investigation (ICAM)
- With background in collecting specimens for alcohol and drug testing
- Internal Auditor
- Working knowledge on Basic Worksite Traffic Management
