Idaho Power located in vibrant Boise Idaho is looking for a Functional Analyst I to join our Battery Energy Storage System Operations and Maintenance team. Its an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does a Functional Analyst I do for us
The Functional Analyst supports the daily operations and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) by monitoring system performance reviewing alerts and operations schedules and providing remote technical support. This role ensures optimal system functionality through remote maintenance documentation of procedures and troubleshooting of technical issues. The analyst collaborates with field technicians and internal teams to resolve system problems maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of BESS operations.

This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment fine motor skills including typing on the computer dialing phones filing paper and working in close proximity to other people.
