Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To assist professors in helping students.
Transferable Skills:
- Ability to provide feedback to students with lab experiments
- Ability to engage students in discussion of lab concepts
- Ability to anticipate and positively react to the needs of the professor
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to receive instruction from the professor and act on that instruction
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep careful and accurate records of student performance
- Evaluate student work and to provide constructive feedback
- May involve grading of lab notebooks
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
- Prior physics lab course work at the level for which they are hired
Wage Range: $11.75-12.75
