Technical Project Manager Workday Implementation
Location: Austin Texas (Hybrid Onsite 3 days per week)
Permanent Position
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with hands-on implementation experience across ERP and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be able to drive timelines coordinate resources and directly support configuration testing and integration activities.
This position reports to the Director of Application Support and will serve as the techno-functional leader of multiple systems and applications. Collaborating closely with Finance HR IT and executive stakeholders the initial project focus will be on a Workday systems implementation project.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information systems Computer Science Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Workday certification required.
- 7 years of enterprise system implementation experience with at least 35 years focused on Workday HCM and/or Financials.
- Proven track record leading Workday implementation projects as a Project Manager Technical Lead or similar role.
- Hands-on expertise with Workday configuration integrations (EIBs Studio Core Connectors) and calculated fields.
- Strong background in project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum or Waterfall).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to engage both executive leaders and technical staff.
- Prior experience in public sector nonprofit or mission-driven organizations a plus.
- Lead the end-to-end Workday implementation project including planning resource management timelines and deliverables.
- Partner with HR Finance IT and vendor teams to ensure effective deployment of Workday HCM and Financial modules.
- Provide hands-on technical oversight in areas such as configuration business process design security role management and integrations (Workday Studio EIBs and Core Connectors).
- Manage system testing cycles including unit testing UAT and regression testing.
- Oversee data conversion migration and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication status reporting and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support post-launch stabilization including enhancements training and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with SOX HIPAA and organizational security requirements.
- Document system configurations processes and project deliverables in alignment with best practices.
