Level 3 Inside Sales Apprentice AMETEK Land


LAND Instruments International Limited is a UK-based company that specialises in providing advanced instrumentation and measurement solutions. Apprenticeship Summary:


  • Salary:7.55 an hour
  • Working Week:Monday to Friday 8am 4pm including a 30 minute break
  • Hours:37.5 hours per week
  • Online apprenticeship training supported by our skilled tutors
  • Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeship standard qualification
  • Location:Stubley Lane Dronfield Derbyshire S18 1DJ



The Role:


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Commercial Apprentice to join our Inside Sales team at LAND Instruments International Limited. This apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to gain 2 hands-on experience in an international sales environment while learning about our cutting-edge products and services.


Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there is potential for progression into a Technical Support role where you will help customers with technical queries and support their product requirements. Alternatively the apprenticeship can lead to an External Sales role where you will have the opportunity to support and develop relationships with our global customer base.

Main Duties:


  • Customer and Sales Support: Assist the inside sales team with customer inquiries providing excellent service and ensuring timely responses to all customer needs.
  • Coordinating Internal Functions: Collaborate with various internal departments to share relevant product information and provide effective solutions to customers.
  • Cold Calling/Outbound Lead Generation: Reach out to potential customers through cold calling and outbound lead generation to drive business development and expand our customer base.
  • Learning the Technical Side of Our Products: Gain in-depth knowledge of our range of products including their technical features and applications to better support customers and contribute to sales efforts

The successful candidate will be:

  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment sharing information and working towards common goals.

  • Resilience and Drive: Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment with the determination to meet and exceed targets.

  • Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to develop new skills including technical knowledge and sales expertise.

  • Educational Requirements: Ideally candidates should have a strong academic background (A-Levels or equivalent) or relevant work experience in a technical field.



Training and Development:

As an apprentice you will receive support through both on-the-job learning and formal training as part of your apprenticeship programme. This will typically include:

  • Study towards a relevant qualification Level 3 Customer Service Diploma.
  • On-the-job training and mentoring from experienced professionals.
  • Regular review meetings to track progress and development.
